I have a 08 Ford Ranger. At the time of the original transmission failure, it had 208k original miles. I bought the truck new and put about 350 miles on it, five days a week. When my transmission went out, I knew where I needed to take it. By living just 20 miles from Jasper, IN, I had it towed to the JET(Jasper Engine & Transmission) facility. That was in 2012. They did not have a rebuilt transmission in stock for a Ford Ranger, that new. So they took out my original transmission, took it to the line, and began tearing it apart. It took four days, to get it back, but it looked brand new. Now it's over four years later, the original engine is still running strong at 279k miles, the Jasper rebuild transmission has 71k miles on it, amp; I have absolutely no complaints. - Anonymous (Review found on Jasper Engines and Transmissions)
